The island of Crocatta has been out of sight and out of mind from the rest of the world for as long as anyone can remember, and the hyenas living on the land mass are nearly as unaware of the rest of the planet as it is of them. The isle provides everything for them that they would ever need, and life for the most part is good.
But it doesn’t end there. This is by no means any ordinary island, and a single glance at some of its inhabitants would make that perfectly clear straight away. The hyenas worship the goddess Kamaria, a fabled female who apparently lived and died hundreds of years ago. Some dismiss the fanciful tales of her life as nothing more than legends, but others think quite differently – And it’s an opinion shared with most hyenas that asking for her help in the mystical Upenyu Shrine will grant you with any number of abilities.
And, in some cases, this happens. Different colours, different extraordinary abilities… After requesting them at this supernatural place, hyenas are being blessed with many strange traits that set them apart from everyone else. It seems that Kamaria is still very much on Crocatta in spirit, and really can exalt the living with new and wonderful powers. But, from time to time, something bad will happen to a hyena at the shrine – And others are beginning to wonder if it’s safe to constantly ask for un-natural powers in the hallowed place. There are even whispers amongst some of the hyenas to destroy the shrine completely and rid the island of the amazing and sometimes terrifying things it can create, whilst others believe it is a thing to be glorified and treated with respect.
Where do you stand in the conflict? Will you request the help of Kamaria herself, or will you be amongst those who oppose ever meddling in supernatural events like these? One this is certain – On an island like this, you can only escape the confrontation for so long before it catches you…
The horses were living in harmony with the land; there was plenty of food and water. There lupines were beginning to see eye to eye and no rivalries were around. The horses were in for long and happy lives, they were all enjoying themselves.
But then… Mother Nature turned against them. There was too much water, flooding through the land, swallowing horses and whelps, birds, rabbits pretty much everything in its path. Many got swallowed by the dark murky water, few managed to struggle against. Swimming for their lives, once they crossed the rushing river they managed to make it to the shore. What they found was something that shocked them all, a new vast expanse of land. Double the size than the one they had been living in.
Conflict was high in this new lands, the lights were in a battle against the darks. And the neutrals were stuck right in the middle of it, choosing no side but forming their own. But the outsiders swum to the new lands not realizing the battles they would soon have to fight. For these horses whom swum so far collapsed on the solid ground, so happy to feel the turf beneath their hooves once again.
With the shock of the new coming horses the natives forgot about their war and went over to 'help' the outsiders. Persuading them to choose their herd then and there, the brave and smart went with lights, the laid back and carefree followed the neutrals and those unafraid and violent choose the darks. Some of the outsiders even challenged for terrains and won, pleased with their new findings the horses ruled their lands. Forming their own army for war, conflict was so heavy in the air; it appears peace will never be found again in the unsettled lands of Flaming Passions, where the water disaster struck. Could you possibly be the one to restore harmony to the lands once more?

100 years from now...........................
A city of sin. Located on an island in the middle of the largest of a man made lake in the region refereed to as the Midwest. It was meant to be a highly technological city, but quickly decay beg and. Envy, Sloth, Greed, malice, Wrath , and Lust became dominate forces in the city.
One night the water turned blood red. An evil Mist went through the city. People began to die in mass. Soon the city grew quiet for three nights.
Strangely tremors began, the bridges to the city collapsing completely cutting access by car to the city. Then a cloud of darkness, sending the once popular experimental high tech city into a state of eternal night...with very new residents.....
In the surrounding cities, people begin to vanish or collapse from Anemia. Some even disappear by day only to reappear at night.
Blaming the Island city, the government attempted to destroy the city. However the city defenses easily repelled the attack and the new residents didn't even bat an eye lash.
Plot/Theme: Note: This is just the starting story|plot. Once things pick up the plot will be kept updated with whats happening so far after every two weeks.
Just as it seemed that L was starting to make head way in the Kira case, more murders start happening. However this time they are not confined to Japan. All across the world reports are starting to flood in about criminals, innocents, politicians dieing left and right. Who could have such power? Perhaps L was wrong in his reasoning or missed something. Unknown to Light and Ryuk, other Shinigami have finally realized just how interesting the human world could be and have followed Ryuk's example and are also dropping extra Death Notes. Not having the man power to deal with this new outbreak alone, L recruits Near and Mello to handle things in other regions outside of Japan. Not knowing how to feel about this killing that is taking place on a more massive scale, those against Kira have begun to panic and many countries have plunged into semi-chaotic states.
Not all of the other "Kira" are using their Death Note for good however, some are using it to wage war on other countries, strike down their enemies, steal, loot, rape, and overall control their opposition with fear. Enter Death Note Forum Role-play, a place where you will be able to decide for yourself what is right and wrong. Will you join the side of Kira and punish those who do wrong? Perhaps you side with L and believe that those who can use this power to kill anyone without remorse are evil themselves. City Of Blood
This is a typical area, though some what fertile. A chunk of land that would be beneficial to multiple species. Vampires moved into the area and begand to make their own civilizations. The lycans (Werewolves) also saw a benefit in taking the area and moved in from another direction. This lead to many a fight and the loss of vampires in the area as well as Lycans. And to make matter worse, portals opened as a result of the blood shed and now the demon world has become part of the equation. While the battle waged over the area, humans have managed to build up over the territory and the City of Halcyon came into being. The Vampires moved into the city and the battles continued............... A hundred years have passed and the battles still go on. Each trying to push out the other. Everyone who gets between the three bloody groups gets chopped up along the way. Three leaders have emerged out of the war to lead their perspective races, but will anything bring this conflict to an end. If the growing cemetary is any indication, only time will tell......

But Alagaesia is a large place, populated by races diverse and dissimilar. The most cunning of Shades continue to elude their hunters; the Urgals remain restless and hunger for land; without external threat, the Human, Elven, Dwarven kingdoms have turned upon themselves and domestic crisis begin to stir. But the most disturbing trend of all is the disagreements and strife arising within the ranks of the Dragon Riders themselves. Yet these are the days of the Dragon Riders at height of their power. From within these origins, what will become your legacy?
Inheritance: Origins is an entry-level RP (but advanced roleplayers are welcome) designed and run by advanced roleplayers to show beginners how to roleplay or help intermediate roleplayers become advanced. It's based off the fantasy world of Paolini's Eragon and Eldest but no knowledge of the books is required to play. Just like an advanced RP, you'll see an interesting storyline, balanced characters, and dynamic writing, but rather than expect these skills from you before you join, our entire goal is to teach them to you. Felicity's Creations Since the beginning of Time, there was a supernatural force that often took the form of the wolf. This was because the wolf was a symbol of wisdom, strength and beauty. But it also symbolized guidance and protection, which was what the goddess offered to the beasts of the wild; her guidance and her protection. She walked among the forest creatures and her image was not feared, even to the beasts that wolves commonly preyed upon; in those times wolves were not feared, but were instead bowed down to by the other beasts. The goddess, in particular, was easy to distinguish from the other wolves. For one thing she exceeded them in height - reaching a full height of four feet and three inches - although her body was lithe and well-figured. And for another, she always wore a golden medallion - referred to as Valadriel - around her neck, with the imprint of what appeared to be a full moon with the rays of the sun surrounding it. It was rumored that exactly one-third of her powers was stored in the magic of Valadriel. She moved with such grace that her steps could barely be heard on the loam. Her fur was as soft and flowing as silk and as dark as a moonless night. But her eyes were what were most captivating about her. Fierce but kind, they sprang out from the raven mass of her fur; two luminous orbs of a spring green hue, mixed with a splash of yellow. The beasts of the Wild came to call the goddess Felicity, for it means happiness and she was always at peace with her creations.
The Three Guardians Of the wolves that walked lived in Felicity's Forests, there were three in particular that earned her favor. They were Nestisea, Yasyina, and Yangovis. The five main elements of the earth [earth, water, fire, wind, and the Celestial, or heaven] were steadily gaining power as the Earth aged and they had to be controlled and maintained. So Felicity appointed the afore-mentioned wolves as the Elemental Guardians. Yangovis - or more commonly, Yang - was appointed Guardian of fire and wind; while Yin, his opposite and his potential mate, was appointed Guardian of the earth and water. Forgetting about Nestisea, Felicity appointed them all as Guardians of the Heavens. At that time, there was nothing parallel to Heaven because the force of Darkness had been overcome and imprisoned by Felicity's power; therefore a Watcher of Darkness was not needed. However, Nestisea felt dejected because she did not have an element of her own. When Felicity saw this her heart shattered. So she resolved to entrust Valadriel - her medallion - to Nestisea, but only after embedding into it the power to control all of the elements, making Valadriel's beholder the Oathskeeper, or supreme guardian. Felicity told Nestisea of this prior to converting her powers to Valadriel and was glad to find Nestisea's reaction was that of gratitude. But unbeknownst to them, Yin had overheard Felicity. Already jealous of Nestisea for her beauty and because she had gotten the interest of Yang, Yin was now determined to somehow obtain the magical medallion for herself to gain more power.
Darkness Falls Around the time that Felicity was ready to transfer some of her powers to Valadriel, an unimaginable thing happened; Darkness had somehow managed to break free of its bonds and escape its prison. Now free of its imprisonment, It set off to mark Its revenge on Felicity. The Darkness found her and struck, almost at the exact moment that the mythical goddess was converting some of her powers into the sacred medallion. Unfortunately, the impact of being taken over by Darkness whilst instilling her powers into the medallion caused a paranormal event to take place; all of Felicity's powers and magic were transferred to Valadriel, causing her life force to be vanquished from existence as we know it. Thereafter, Felicity was no more. The only traces of her remained in the mysterious medallion, Valadriel.
Animals Allowed Horses and domestic animals. Humans.
Time Period Present time.
Plot A large war has been going on between the lights and dark since the time of the horses came. It has been horrible. Death, hate, fear, and grief all in one world. Now, that that humans have began to populate the land, the horses are growing angered, setting off more wars between the two. What side will you choose?

Legend has it that there was once weapon so terrible that it even struck fear in the hearts of the Gods. Its name was Ahnakatti, which in the ancient language translates roughly as "Deity's bane." The immortals sealed it away in the heart of Jaharaah, hoping that its vengeful wrath may never find another being. For ages, all went well. Ahnakatti was never discovered during those years... but little did the Gods know that it was simply biding its time.
Centuries later, it called out to a human-- a human who wanted nothing more than to save his homeland from bloodthirsty demons. With the help of the powerful Ahnakatti, he succeeded in driving them away. However, he befell a horrid fate; the human who sought peace among his people became a slave to the very weapon which banished his enemies.
The Gods could not allow this. The hero had saved Jaharaah-- he should not have had to suffer such a gruesome destiny. They summoned the mighty dragons, who fought a devastating battle against the human. In the end, the beasts won, although the human's life was lost. Drowned in despair, all races-- human, elf, dwarf, dragon and God alike-- prepared a kingly burial for the hero. In the midst of their grief, they failed to notice that Ahnakatti was missing.
And to this very day, Deity's bane is still lost. But many have claimed to hear its voice... a call that is both tempting and fatal.
There are two sorts of characters you can choose from for this RP.
1. You can play a character from Jaharaah. These characters of many races have lived in Jaharaah-- their families have lived there, and they will continue to live there. They all fit into some sort of social class there, whether it be royalty, nobility, common folk, etc. Once sorted into a social class, there are many jobs to choose from-- most beings learn some art of fighting (either magic or weapon) so they can defend themselves. There are many fighting classes your character may fit into. These characters will ban together and put forth their efforts to save the world from destruction.
2. You can play a human character from earth in 2007. This is where the creative plot twists come in. The storyline is about a great evil spreading through the lands of Jaharaah. Help is called for from a great dragon named Imber. He sends telepathic messages to those who he thinks are worthy in another world (aka Earth as we know it). These teens he calls for are magically whisked away, and end up in Jaharaah-- Imber expects them to save his home. They will become familiar with those of Jaharaah, form alliances, train to become warriors and set off on an incredible journey.
The Continent: Jaharaah is specifically defined for roleplaying purposes.
Races: There are a variety of races to pick and choose from, each with detailed descriptions.
Fighting Classes: Roleplayers are asked to abide by Jaharaan tradition and choose one of the classes which fits the chosen race. There are base classes which can level up into advanced classes. Also, there are unique classes for certain races.
Social Classes: Realistic social classes can be chosen for a character, depending on his or her race.
An Encyclopedia: Created so that the members would have extensive knowledge about Jaharaah's races, traditions, history and other aspects, the encyclopedia will continually be under construction until all possible topics have been covered.
Unique, Friendly Members: Every single member has something special to offer Jaharaah, whether it be extraordinary writing skills or a humorous personality. The members all have character and individuality is highly encouraged. Sociability is not an issue with Jaharaah, since they all love to talk in the neighborhood cbox.
A Highly Flexible Plot line: Jaharaah is a very descriptive setting with its own races and traditions; there are certain events taking place and many characters interacting at the same time. However, every member is taken into consideration and the staff will gladly fit any new characters into the plot. Plotting among the members is also a popular activity and certainly wonderful.

This is part of a motto that is greatly recognized in the Trek world and you could be a part of it. Here at DS12 we offer a great community, great role playing opportunities and generally to offer help that you may need.
Deep Space Twelve: Tankara is on a new frontier and perhaps set into the unknown. Tankara is a space station that has all the complimentary gizmo's and trading facilities. You can be a part of the Federation, or simply be a civilian making a living amongst the community.
We are looking for new members to make this site thrive and give us new innovations to improve what and who we are. Isn't that the meaning of being human? To better ourselves for the greater good? Course, here on DS12, you could very well be the baddie, the black sheep amongst the crowd or crew.
